**Standard applied:** the desired outcome was the strongest case AGAINST novelty. Sources substantially similar to our hypothesis are elevated, not buried.

**The hypothesis audited (precise form):** Could the reported subsurface system beneath Khafre (REPORTED/UNVERIFIED) constitute a lower fluid/mechanical subsystem coupled through bedrock to the pyramid above, and does the independently surveyed Khafre geometry exhibit a reproducible modal relationship with the frequency implied by the reported underground geometry - tested against a pre-registered randomized-geometry null using provenance-graded historical survey dimensions? (Explicitly NOT claimed: existence, water content, human construction of the deep system, intent, operation, energy output, human placement.)

## 1. HEADLINE VERDICTS

**A. Definitely NOT novel**
- "Pyramids resonate" - saturated since at least the 1990s (Danley's Khufu measurements; folklore band; Jahn et al. establish chamber-resonance measurement as a genre, though never in Egypt).
- "Pyramid as machine with a signal chain" - Christopher Dunn 1998 owns this conceptually (source → Grand Gallery resonator bank → antechamber filter → King's Chamber cavity). Khufu only.
- "Water/hydraulics inside a pyramid" - Kunkel 1959/1962, Cadman, Myers, and (in his own books) Malanga's Nile-fed hydraulic framing. Khufu only.
- "Multi-pyramid coupled operation" as a concept - Danny Kerr's TeslaPyramids (2016): beat patterns between pyramids operating at different frequencies, with numbers. Fringe, unreviewed, internal chambers only - but the inter-pyramid coupling *shape* has fringe precedent.
- The statistical method in the abstract - randomized/permutation null models against pattern claims are mature science: Bible-code rebuttal (MBBK 1999, the canonical case), Ruggles' shuffle-and-recombine (1984), Wurdi Youang 10,000-geometry Monte Carlo (2013), Freeman/Kendall megalithic-yard re-analyses (1976), Gotelli's null-model taxonomy in ecology (2000).
- The mechanism physics in the abstract - fluid column in a rock-hosted vertical void oscillating via bedrock strain coupling is textbook hydrogeology (coseismic well-level oscillation literature) and coupled structure-fluid-foundation dynamics is standard engineering (dam-reservoir-foundation FEM).

**B. Partially novel**
- Underground-oscillator-beneath-KHAFRE as an idea: post-2025 the space is occupied by gestures - the claimants' own hints (Biondi's July-2024 "harmonic resonance"/"acoustic and hydraulic resonator connected to the Nile" per secondary sources, LOW CONFIDENCE, unverified primary; his JRE low-pass-filter/sarcophagus remarks, qualitative, numberless), Mack's "ritual resonance tunnels" (July 2025, psycho-spiritual), Roemmele's "energy transfer" speculation. NOBODY computed anything. Pre-2025: nothing Khafre-specific exists at all.
- Frequency-from-depth arithmetic: one Substack (Oct 2025) gestured depth→half-wavelength→2.8 Hz with different numbers and no derivation. Our specific 1482/648 ≈ 2.29 Hz vs measured 2.0-2.6 Hz cross-reference: found nowhere, any language - and our own paper then REJECTED it as evidence, which no gesture-maker did.
- The experiment rig: ALBA's "Song of the Stone" (Sivan 2026, Zenodo, not peer-reviewed) runs FEM + 10M randomized control caves + frequency convergence + survey validation on the Barabar caves - the closest architecture-of-experiment match anywhere (method 4/5). Different site, different mechanism (piezoelectric-mercury erosion), self-flagged undemonstrated. We are not the first to build this KIND of rig for ancient stone; we are the first to point one at Giza with provenance-graded inputs and a pre-registered null.

**C. Genuinely novel (no prior instance found)**
1. The computed coupled model: underground network + bedrock element + Khafre's surveyed passage network as one transmission-line system with spectra. The claimants gestured; nobody computed.
2. The 648↔2.29↔2.3 quantitative cross-reference (and its null-first rejection).
3. The provenance layer: page-image extraction of Vyse 1840 + M&R 1966 Tavole dimension chains into a machine-readable per-measurement dataset (Harvard's Digital Giza digitizes documents, not dimensions - checked directly, 0/5; Glen Dash digitized Petrie coordinates for Khufu, 2/5).
4. Cross-survey disagreement treated as sampled uncertainty (no precedent found in heritage science - the closest are informal deltas).
5. A randomized-geometry null applied to an ACOUSTIC/frequency claim about architecture (explicit domain gap confirmed: archaeoastronomy has the method for alignments; acoustics/structural engineering has no instance of it).

**E. Strongest prior-art challenge:** ALBA "Song of the Stone" (experiment architecture) + Danny Kerr 2016 (multi-pyramid coupled concept with numbers, 9 years pre-SAR) + the claimants' own resonance gestures (system idea in the source's orbit). None individually or jointly reaches the computed, provenance-graded, null-tested package - but any "nobody ever thought of this" claim dies against them, and we will never make one.

**F. Strongest evidence our methodology differs:** the triple negative - Digital Giza has no dimensional provenance dataset; no formal cross-survey uncertainty treatment exists anywhere in heritage science; no randomized-geometry null has ever been applied to an architectural acoustics claim - plus the frozen v1.0 manifest with the pre-registration property MBBK proved the Bible-code work lacked.

## 4. WHAT WE FOUND THAT CHANGES OUR VIEW
- **ALBA's rig exists.** Someone built FEM + massive randomized-geometry null + frequency convergence for ancient stone before us. Weakens any "first such experiment ever" phrasing; the honest claim is domain- and package-specific.
- **Kerr's 2016 multi-pyramid beat model** is closer in shape than any of us knew - inter-pyramid coupling with numbers, nine years pre-SAR. Fringe and unreviewed, but it exists.
- **The Bible-code affair is our methodological mirror** - and its lesson cuts at us: MBBK showed the fatal flaw is flexibility in what gets held fixed vs. randomized and unverifiable pre-registration. Adoptable stress tests for a future Analysis v2.0: negative-control structures (run the identical protocol on networks that should NOT show the effect), alternative-but-equally-defensible geometric parameterizations, leave-one-out sensitivity. Our v1.0 freeze partially anticipates this; v2.0 should complete it.
- **Coseismic well oscillation strengthens the mechanism** - the shaft-as-oscillator idea is established geophysics in another department (with one stated direction-difference: driven vs self-sustaining).
- **The claimants gestured at resonance themselves** (Biondi 2024?/JRE; Malanga's books) - so the IDEA-space credit partly belongs to their orbit, while the computed model does not.
- **Corrections absorbed:** Danley's published figure is 16 Hz (2.5 Hz stays rumor-tier, as our ledger already says); Cadman is sub-1-Hz (never cite as band corroboration); Tesla never wrote about pyramids; Darwish 2017 (Khufu FEM modal) belongs in the paper's refs at next unfreeze.
- **Agent blanks vs our ledger:** two audit agents failed to find Collins' Root 5/Beat Frequency and the Mohamed/Hussein/Rashed FEM preprint - both are tool-access artifacts; we hold ledger-verified copies/reads (rows 18, 20). Ledger stands.

## 5. THE CLAIM DRAFTS

**VERSION A - paper:** "We have found no prior work that models the reported subsurface geometry beneath Khafre together with the pyramid's independently surveyed internal architecture as a single coupled mechanical system, nor any prior application of a pre-registered randomized-geometry null model to an acoustic claim about ancient architecture; the components of the method are separately established in hydrogeology, structural dynamics, archaeoastronomical statistics, and reproducible-research practice, and are credited accordingly."

**VERSION B - website:** "None of the pieces here are ours alone. Pyramid-as-machine is a century-old genre; the physics of oscillating water columns in rock is textbook hydrogeology; randomized null models were pioneered against Bible codes and megalithic alignments; even the experiment's architecture has a cousin in a study of Indian cave acoustics. What we have not found anywhere - in five languages, across academia, patents, and the fringe - is anyone who put the reported underground geometry and Khafre's surveyed passages into one computed mechanical model, extracted the survey dimensions from the original 1840s and 1960s plates with per-measurement provenance, and tested the resulting frequency relationship against a pre-registered randomized control. That combination, and its published, frozen, reproducible protocol, is the contribution. If prior work exists that does this, we want to know about it - finding it would improve this page."

**VERSION C - public/X:** "Everyone asks if the pyramids could resonate. We asked a narrower question: if the reported shafts under Khafre are real, do the 1840s survey dimensions of the pyramid's passages line up with them better than chance? We built the test, froze the protocol, and published everything - including how to prove us wrong. As far as we can find, nobody has run this test before. The parts are all borrowed; the combination is new."

## 6. LIMITATIONS OF THIS AUDIT
Searches were tool-mediated (WebFetch/WebSearch); academia.edu, ResearchGate, some PDFs and archives blocked repeatedly; Legon GM 110 unobtained; Farrell's Khafre chapter unread; Biondi's July 2024 statement unverified at primary level; paywalled books unchecked; non-indexed print literature (esp. pre-1990 German/Russian) undersampled. The novelty verdicts are "not found after documented search," never "does not exist."
